“má lọ rò” (meaning "do not think about it anymore").

This phrase was the quiet, cultural boundary line of my youth, a gentle warning deployed whenever curiosity drifted too far into the infinite. Yet the human mind was not built for intellectual retreat.

When we open Genesis, we are met with a cosmic opening line;
"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."

The declaration rauses immediate questions:
Which Beginning?
Where was God before space existed?
And if we say God dwells in Heaven, does that mean He is from Heaven?

To answer where God coes from, we must first confront Who He actually Is.

The Nature of the Uncreated.

To seek the identity of God is to look for an origin story. But God defies classification.
He belongs to no category of species, inhabits no physical form, and operates outside terrestrial, aquatic, or celestial limites. He is Spirit, the Uncreated Creator.

If time is a physical entity, then God is not bound by a ticking clock.
He simply IS.

God is not an entity inside the universe; the universe is an event held within Him. He has no origin point because He is the Origin. Long before human religion or scientific inquiry began mapping reality, God existed.

 

Reconciling the Divine Paradox.

Scripture bestows titles like Alpha and Omega, Merciful, righteous, and Almighty.
These describe how He acts. Yet, this is precisely where many stumble:

  • How do we reconcile a God of terrifying judgement with a God of infinite Grace?
  • How can Scripture declare that "Our God is a Consuming Fire" while simultaneously insisting that God is Love?

The tension dissolves when we look past His actions to His underlying motivation.

God may sit as Judge, but His judgement is an extension of His Love, a discipline meant to prune, never to condemn. he may be a consuming fire, but He is not an elemental force of destruction. He is a refining flame of Love, burning away the hate, fear, and shame that distort our humanity.

The Resolution: Who and Where

So, Who is God and Where is he from?

  • WHO HE IS: He is essential Love, strong enough to save, deliver, redeem and refine.
  • WHERE HE IS FROM: He is from Nowhere, because He is the source of Everywhere. To be "from" somewhere implies a location existed before you. But God does not occupy space; space exists because of Him.

Stepping past “má lọ rò” does not lead to heresy; it leads to awe. God is not a geographic entity to be located, nor a riddle to be solved; He is an Uncreated Love to be Experienced.

GOD is Love. The Love that Judges to Prune, not to Condemn. The Love that Cares to show Mercy. The Love so String to Save, Deliver and Redeem.
